9. Donald Glover
Back before Andrew Garfield was cast for The Amazing Spider-Man, Donald Glover - AKA Childish Gambino - campaigned pretty hard for the role, which clearly didn't come off, but which did inspire a fairly major comics universe development when Brian Michael Bendis created the character of Miles Morales. Clearly, though he has a very youthful appearance, Glover would struggle to convincingly play a 13-year-old boy, but he could play an older version of Morales - which some suggested might have been Sony's plans for ASM4 anyway (or something similar). Pros It would allow Marvel to acknowledge that Peter Parker does exist, but that he isn't around at the time of the first two MCU phases - explaining why he never noticed that New York was being pummelled. Plus, Glover is certainly charismatic enough. Cons Will Marvel really go with anyone but Peter Parker for their first cross-over? That would pretty much be like introducing Pepper Potts as the first Iron Man.
