6. Hope Van Dyne Is Actually A Villain
Hope is a new creation for Ant-Man, making her a mystery as a result. There is a Hope Pym in the comic books who is also the daughter of Hank and Janet though, but she exists in an alternate future. In that, Hope is known as the Red Queen and has clashed with The Avengers because she believes they have disrespected the memory of her parents. Perhaps this is why there are rumours pointing to a similarly villainous personality in the movie. Despite the fact Hope has been seen training with Scott Lang, it's been reported and theorised that she has her own motivations, specifically involving getting revenge on her father (due to him being responsible for the death of her mother). It's also been confirmed that she works at Cross Industries (which is owned by the villainous Yellowjacket), so there is a chance she might be aligned with him. As cool as that is, her becoming The Wasp is more likely.
