This 2009 Sam Raimi horror flick gave audiences one last surprise in its closing moments when protagonist, Christine, was, well, dragged to hell. The critical and box office success of the film left fans wondering when the inevitable sequel would be announced. Sadly, no such plans seem to be on the horizon, as Raimi has stated he hasn't been able to come up with a story.

This is a little hard to believe, given the events of the final scene. As Christine is pulled into the fiery depths of hell by a bunch of demonic hands, her boyfriend Clay looks on in horror, unable to help. This is the perfect jumping off point for a sequel, which could follow Clay as he studies the occult in an attempt to rescue Christine from eternal torment.

Watching Justin Long constantly fighting off demons certainly sounds like one hell of a compelling ride. It would even be open to some great twist and turns along the way.

Perhaps the lack of a sequel for this one isn't so much that Raimi can't think of a story, but rather that he hasn't thought of one he wants to tell.
