10 Things Avengers: Infinity War Must Avoid

7. Unnecessary Romance

Because the MCU's movies are aiming at the broadest, biggest audience possible, most of them contain some sort of romance, and often this has ended up falling horribly, hilariously flat.

The most egregious examples are undoubtedly Thor and Jane Foster and also The Hulk and Black Widow, though the will-they-won't-they of Star-Lord and Gamora also isn't terribly convincing, and Vision and Scarlet Witch is just kinda...there. They've all got one thing in common: they're wildly unnecessary.

Infinity War already has enough to deal with, so maybe keep the lovey-dovey nonsense to a minimum?

Will It Happen?: This is one area where the movie will probably fare pretty well, because most of the heroes' love interests aren't even scheduled to appear in Infinity War, which makes things much simpler from the get-go.

There will surely be a sprinkling of romance somewhere, but it looks set to be much more subdued than in prior MCU films.
