11 Movies That Were Far Better Than They Had Any Right To Be

11. Rampage (2009)

RampageWhy It Had No Right To Be Any Good: Uwe Boll Movie About A Killing Spree Rampage is a movie written and directed by Uwe Boll. That notion alone should be enough to keep you away from this one forever, and yet there is something so insanely miraculous about this movie in the sense that it defies all established logic in the universe now and forever: it's actually pretty good. Yes, Uwe Boll created an acceptable work of fiction - one that might even silence his most prominent naysayers for the sum of 90 minutes. Okay, so Rampage isn't a masterpiece, but it's certainly one by Boll's standard. And given the premise of the flick, it should have been absolutely awful: set over the course of a few days, we watch a young man slowly crack until he decides to don a suit of armour and go on a killing spree in his town. Uwe Boll? Killing spree movie? Destined for disaster, right? Wrong. It's a surprisingly entertaining and - dare I say it - intelligent little film. I know: the world has turned upside down.
