15 Greatest Death Scenes In The Saw Franchise

7. The Shotgun Carousel (Saw VI)

No trap in the history of the Saw franchise is loaded with as much real-world relevance as the Shotgun Carousel, which sees health care manager William being faced with six of his assistants, who are tied to a carousel which stops periodically to unload a shotgun blast into one of them.

However, William is able to press a button in order to instead pierce his hand and save two of the six victims. This essentially reflects the act of "playing God" that he and his colleagues take part in by denying sick people healthcare coverage, including the original Jigsaw himself.

Four of William's poor underlings get a shotgun load to the chest, but what makes this death scene so great is how suffused with satirical anger it is, all of it directed towards the American healthcare system.
