15 Greatest Death Scenes In The Saw Franchise
8. Game Over, Adam (Saw III)
This death scene isn't a trap nor is it remotely finessed or clever, but it does provide a concrete answer to how Adam died, after his corpse was revealed in Saw II.
While the initial assumption was that Adam simply died of thirst after being left in the bathroom at the end of the original film, Saw III reveals that Amanda actually went back into the bathroom a few days later and suffocated him with a plastic bag, as a mercy killing of sorts (though she also had to smash his head against the toilet to stop him resisting).
Considering how likeable Adam was, it was especially disturbing to see him die on screen, even if it's ultimately a little less grim than if he'd been left to dehydrate to death over a few more days.
