50 Greatest Action Movies Of All Time

34. Kill Bill Volume 1 (2003)

Crank 2
Miramax Films

Quentin Tarantino returned from a six-year hiatus from feature filmmaking with a self-proclaimed "roaring rampage of revenge", which turned out to deliver exactly what the director had promised.

Influenced by everything from blaxploitation to Spaghetti Westerns via the Shaw Brothers, Kill Bill Volume 1 is a highly-stylised and incredibly violent revenge movie that features stunning animated sequences, close-quarters combat and the incredible showdown at the House of Blue Leaves, with Uma Thurman proving herself more capable of kicking serious ass than the majority of Hollywood's male action action stars.

I don't do social media, so like or follow me in person but please maintain a safe distance or the authorities will be notified. Don't snap me though, I'll probably break.
