This is the one most likely to send shivers up the spines of fans, but it could actually work.

With time travel involved, the adventures could be endless, with a different era explored each season, ensuring it never gets dull. Then you have the adventurous spirit and tone, and of course the humour that made the films so iconic, which could all add up to a great basis for a show.

The time travelling TV show would also present the opportunity to interfere with the original story and perhaps change a whole host of plot points from the films. Whether or not that is a good thing is another story. Either way, the prospect of recreating this all-time classic into a show is surely whirling around the mind of many TV producers.

Also, with such an increased output of dark sci-fi programming, this could be a much-needed antithesis, with a more lighthearted approach than the likes of Dark, Altered Carbon, and Maniac.
