Avengers: Infinity War - Every Character Ranked Worst To Best

16. Nebula

In the comics, Nebula is mistreated horribly by Thanos, who tortures her for fun to show how sadistic he is. Some of that makes it into the film, but the Mad Titan actually only tortures his daughter as a means to extract the information on the Soul Stone from Gamora.

She gets her own back to a certain extent, helping attack him on Titan and it's interesting to see her dynamic with her father as he further goads her as his obviously non-favourite daughter. Hopefully we will see more of that in thre sequel since she was one of the few characters left alive.

15. Scarlet Witch

Given her close relationship with the Infinity Stones it shouldn't have come as too much of a surprise that Scarlet Witch gets a fair bit of attention in Infinity War. She's used as the filter through which we see Vision's sacrifice (or attempted sacrifice) and the cost of her very existence (and his) shapes the way she plays into the story.

And after being somewhat sidelined in Civil War (aside from killing lots of people accidentally), she also gets a chance to really show off her powers in the battle of Wakanda, saving most of her team-mates at one point and finally living up to the fact that she's a walking expression of the Mind Stone's power.

Plus, the script cleverly calls back to her controlling Vision in Civil War as she's heart-breakingly shown as the only real way to destroy him.
