First Spider-Man: Far From Home Trailer Swings Online
At last, our first look at the latest MCU outing for your friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man.
Finally, the first trailer for the MCU's next Spidey adventure, Spider-Man: Far From Home, has made its way onto the web.
Had things gone to plan, the trailer would've arrived last month amidst the madness that saw Captain Marvel and Avengers: Endgame unveil new trailers, with Sony debuting the footage at CCXP in Brazil. For whatever reason, perhaps directly related to the reception of Endgame's trailer, they've decided to hold off, but now - thanks to Tom Holland having a chat with Sony, of course - the trailer has arrived, and you can check it out below.
There's also an international version, which has a different opening:
As expected, the trailer doesn't make reference to the fact that Spider-Man is, well, currently dead as things stand in the MCU. Instead, it sees him going on a trip to Europe with his school friends, where he's recruited by Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) to take on some new threats, before meeting Jake Gyllenhaal's Mysterio. In a stark contrast to the ominous tone of Avengers: Endgame's trailer, this one is every bit as light and zippy as you'd expect from a Spidey film.
Spider-Man Far From Home, which is once again directed by Jon Watts and sees Holland, Zendaya, Michael Keaton, and Marisa Tomei all reprising their roles from Homecoming, will be released on July 5, 2019.
