2. Surtur Is In (And Voiced By Clancy Brown) - Thor: Ragnarok

It's been a while since we had some inklings that the dread villain Surtur would be involved in Thor: Ragnarok and the trailer shown out of Comic Con offers actual concrete evidence, int he shape of his massive fiery head appearing at the end of the footage.

Thanks to Taika Waititi, we also know how he was captured. On top of playing Korg, Waititi himself did the motion capture work for Surtur, and he also revealed an excellent addition for his voice to Comic Book...

“I did a little of the mo-cap stuff for Surtur, body wise, but then we have Clancy Brown doing the voice of Surtur. I’m playing a character from Planet Hulk called Korg. He becomes Thor’s mate. It started off as a very small role. It wasn’t me, I didn’t do it, but the role has gotten bigger now.”

Brown is best known to some as the voice of Mr Krabs in Spongebob Squarepants or as bad guy guard Captain Hadley from The Shawshank Redemption, but he's also previously done voice work for a giant hellish comic book villain before - he played the voice of Parallax in the awful Fantastic Four: Rise Of The Silver Surfer abomination.
