9. Jennifer Connelly Plays Mrs. J.A.R.V.I.S.

You'd be forgiven for missing that Jennifer Connelly has a "cameo" of sorts in the film as Karen, the AI voice interface created for the Stark Spidey suit, and though on the face of it this seems like nothing more than the casting of a talented actress in a minor part in a big-budget movie, it's actually got a pretty fun connection to the wider MCU.

Connelly is in fact married to Paul Bettany, who voiced J.A.R.V.I.S. and plays Vision in live-action form, and so Homecoming director Jon Watts has since comically referred to Karen as "J.A.R.V.I.S.' wife".

It may be the most inconsequential of nods, sure, but it's fun all the same, and it'll be interesting to see whether or not this is played-up further in Infinity War in particular, where Spidey will inevitably come face-to-face with Vision.
