Spider-Man: Homecoming - Every Secret You Need To Know

10. Miles Morales Is In The MCU (Technically)

Donald Glover gives a brief but memorable performance in the movie as enterprising criminal Aaron Davis, who comic book fans will know as The Prowler, though in Homecoming this version of the character hasn't quite gotten that far along yet.

Davis' most interesting scene involves him giving Peter Vulture's location, which he says is in order to protect his young nephew, who lives nearby. This could easily pass as a throwaway line to the uninitiated viewer, but to those familiar with Davis, it's clearly a reference to his nephew Miles Morales, who of course becomes the popular black-Hispanic depiction of the Spider-Man character introduced in the comics a few years ago.

It's extra fun when you consider that Glover himself initially wanted to play Morales on-screen, and while this Easter egg could simply be a playful nod to that, it could also be setting up the appearance of Miles sometime down the line.

Can you imagine the insane potential of a Spider-Man team-up movie? It'd need to be delicately developed so as not to confuse or deter more general audiences, but the fact that Miles is even being acknowledged in this continuity is all kinds of awesome.
