9. BB-8 Gets To Play War
So, now we know that as well as being the single cutest thing in the entire galaxy (sorry R2), BB-8 is a lot more than just a quirky companion droid. According to one of the briefest flashes of the trailer, the character who stole the first teaser will team up with an X-Wing pilot (most probably Poe Dameron, since he's the best) to play his astromech as he flies into battle. That's actually a fairly surprising revelation, given the fact that BB-8's design doesn't appear to lend itself well to hurtling through open space; suited far more to quick manoeuvrability rather than stationary servicing. But then maybe there are a lot of hidden appendages within that spherical body like R2-D2?
