Terminator Reboot: 5 Reasons Why It Will Inevitably Suck

Terminator When brother and sister movie-making team Megan Ellison and David Ellison acquired the rights to the Terminator franchise a few years back, they made a lot of promises. There are lots of exciting words about how it was going to be "the Terminator film that the fans want, " Schwarzenegger was back on board, and it was also going to serve as the violent sequel the franchise so badly needed to get it back on its feet. Megan Ellison even tweeted in January 2012:
€œWe can€™t really tell you guys anything about Terminator, BUT it will be an R rated film as God and James Cameron intended.€
All the right words were coming from the new stewards of the Terminator franchise and anticipation was high as fans waited for news about the plot and cast. Well, the fifth Terminator film is not going to be a sequel as everyone expected (and wanted) but instead will be unfortunately a reboot simply called €˜€™Terminator.€™€™ Little is known about the plot, but it will star Schwarzenegger and Game Of Thrones director Alan Taylor will helm the project. If the word €˜€™reboot€™€™ wasn€™t enough to terminate any excitement you might have had about this movie, they are also going down the road of recasting Sarah, John Connor and Kyle Reese with younger, sexier actors... you know, to really hammer home the point that Terminator will make all the mistakes that Hollywood remakes so often do. Terminator fans are already upset, the producers don€™t care, and Schwarzenegger is set to collect another massive paycheck regardless. Click "next" to find out why we already know it will suck, then...
