10 Best Dark Souls Bosses We Loved To Hate

5. Sif, The Great Grey Wolf

dogsingames.tumblr.comNamco BandaiFound in: Dark Souls With the huge success of Game of Thrones, direwolves are all the rage despite their involvement exclusively in tragic stories. Sif is a huge, grey wolf which fits all but the best descriptions of one of George R. R. Martin's creations and also follows their trend of tragedy down to a tee. The tragedy is this: Sif doesn't really want to fight. You find him alone deep within Darkroot Basin loyally guarding the grave of his master, Knight Artorias. Next to the grave is the ring you'll need to advance to the next area in the game and the only way to reach it is through this huge, sharp-toothed cuddly puppy. Though Sif would rather peace prevail, he won't allow you to approach the grave. It's an unfortunate circumstance which causes you to cross blades. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dVOBoMzcl0Q That's right: cross blades. Sif carries in his jaws the sword of his former master, fighting in giant leaps and bounds which bring the blade down into the dirt and, hopefully for him, your face. Once he's taken enough damage, Sif will begin to limp, and your heart will promptly break as you strike the final blow to this beautiful beast. Winter is coming, and hopefully so are the tissues, please. Sniff.

A young man with a hairy face. Will often tell you that winter is coming before retreating to his mancave to play video games with a wooly jumper at the ready, just in case.
