The Xbox One celebrates it's birthday on the 22nd November and it's been a rough first year for Microsoft's new home console. Still plagued by a catastrophic unveiling, Microsoft have seen Sony's PlayStation 4 take a commanding lead in sales figures, leaving the Xbox One to play catch-up. Undoubtedly the Xbox One has issues, but one thing that has not been lacking in the past year is quality titles. Yes, despite what you may think of the console, the Xbox One has a bunch of great games to play. It might still be lacking a critically acclaimed killer app to move people away from Sony's console but if you do decide to pick up an Xbox One, you'll find plenty of titles to enjoy, ranging from giant blockbusters to sleeper hits that are full of surprises. The digital marketplace is a great source for these hidden gems with an ever-growing list of indie titles available at the touch of a button. Of course, great games aren't always immediately recognisable and that's where this list comes in - featuring ten games which should be on the shelf of every Xbox One owner. Not every one on here is exclusive to Microsoft's console, but if you own an Xbox One you simply have to pick these games up; you're only punishing yourself if you don't.
