10 Nintendo Switch Launch Games Ranked From Worst To Best

2. 1-2-Switch

Nintendo likes launching its consoles with party games, with the Wii having pack-in game Wii Sports and the Wii U getting the underappreciated Nintendoland (included with certain Premium Wii U consoles). Switch isn’t getting any pack-in titles, which is a shame, but it is launching with the bizarre and frankly wonderful looking 1-2-Switch.

Including a selection of over 20 mini-games that centre around multiplayer action, the focus here is on quick fun. The Switch’s included Joy-Con controller can be split into two, meaning all console owners already have the hardware needed to play with friends. Whether it’s eating virtual food as quickly as possible, catching a sword swung by a samurai, performing dance poses, or milking a cow (yes, really), 1-2-Switch looks to be the launch game everyone will get enjoyment from.

While mini-game collections aren’t the most exciting to launch alongside new consoles, Nintendo knows how to make them great. If you’re buying a Switch this game is pretty much essential.
