10 Nintendo Switch Launch Games Ranked From Worst To Best
1. The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild comfortably takes the number one spot in the Nintendo Switch launch lineup rankings. Even when taking into account that the game started development as a Wii U exclusive and is still coming to that console on 3 March 2017, Breath of the Wild is without a doubt the biggest reason to own a Switch from day one.
With a huge open world to explore, dungeons to solve and mysteries to discover, Breath of the Wild could well be the greatest Zelda game ever made. It’s too early to say exactly how it’ll stack up against classics like A Link to the Past and Ocarina of Time, but impressions suggest Nintendo has given the franchise a bump into the modern era thanks to a gorgeous art style and a new physics engine.
The absolutely essential games in the Switch launch lineup are few, but anyone buying The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is sure to be in for a treat that will keep them entertained for weeks, if not longer.
That’s your lot. Not many brand new exclusives to speak of, but a decent selection of quality games to choose from on day one.
