Unlike Reach's more updated, 343 counterparts, Halo: Reach was more universally accepted by its fanbase whereas Guardians and Halo 4, despite gameplay improvements, contain too many problems with the integral parts of Halo, *cough* the story *cough*. When fans of the game know how the story of Reach ends before they even play it and yet still get captivated by the more emotional moments, means you've got to give credit where credit is due.

Reach continued the trend of Halo's reputable multiplayer, introducing Armor Abilities, a deeper spartan customisation, the return of Firefight and the debut of the under-appreciated Invasion game mode.

It may not have made as much money as Halo 4 or Guardians, but a reaction and reception are more memorable than the money it makes, and who really remembers 4 and 5's story? Was there even one in Guardians?
