15 Best First-Person Shooters Of The Decade (So Far)
5. Far Cry 3 - Ubisoft
After two decent, but forgettable games, Far Cry 3 brought the franchise onto its feet, standing proudly amongst the other popular First-Person Shooters.
Good marketing took this game far, but at release, the game itself took it even further. An engrossing story revolving around survival, psychopaths, tribes and their wars that introduced us to, the etched-in-stone, Vaas Montenegro who took center stage in the game and constantly stole the spotlight.
The gameplay was a fulfilling predatory experience that tickled the primal side of us all; head-shotting unaware guards with arrows, siccing the wildlife on them or just getting up close and slitting their throats.
There are camps to save, towers to climb and bases to destroy, all of which have become Ubisoft's bread and butter for better or worse, but Far Cry 3 arguably did it best.
