15 Best First-Person Shooters Of The Decade (So Far)
7. Borderlands 2 - Gearbox
Borderlands 1 was a good game, but it's apparent that it needed a tune-up. Enter stage right: Borderlands 2.
A much-needed change was the colour palette that immediately makes this second instalment more engaging, going from the dingy, depressing browns to more eye-pleasing blues. It's a small change but it really does make a huge difference after playing the games back to back.
Other inclusions consisted of more variation in design for the weapons, as well as their nerfing or empowerment, and characters with more interesting abilities and more options to change their appearance.
The vastest change is the addition of a more apparent story with the inclusion of the unforgettable Handsome Jack, that all aided in a constant motivation for the player(s) to continue the game to the end.
