9 Video Game Sequels So Bad They Killed The Series

9. Medal Of Honor: Warfighter

EA

Aside from the hilariously blunt title, there wasn€'™t much fun to be had with Medal Of Honor: Warfighter. The game was a sad end for the series, which had started life as an acclaimed shooter for the PS1 €- which even had input from Steven Spielberg€“ - before being overtaken in a major way by the Call Of Duty series.

Medal Of Honor tried to reinvent itself as a modern shooter for a couple of games, with Warfighter marking the end of the road. It was clear within the first ten minutes of Warfighter it was rushed out; the enemy AI was crap and provided no challenge, and there were other annoying bugs that plagued it throughout.

It was just a shoddy copy of Call Of Duty, but somehow even less inventive. EA have claimed the near universal bad reviews for the game have put the series on ice, and there'€™s little hope of another entry - presumably titled Medal Of Honor: Bulletshooter - in the near future.

Handsome. Charismatic. Intelligent. Noble. Witty. I'm none of these things, but I'm a half decent writer, I guess.
