Bioshock 4: 5 Perfect Fan Theory Locations
3. USSR Moon Base
What better way to show Bioshock’s philosophy and politics than having the next game set in a failed communist Moon base?
The Soviet Union has completed their goal of building a moon base and the world marvels, while the US growls. After the construction of the base, it goes silent. A group of mysterious individuals have sent the player to the Moon itself, to discover what has happened to the Soviets' greatest accomplishment.
The player discovers that the cosmonauts’ goals have fallen apart, as individuals slaughter one another for supplies to survive on the gray desert. Slowly, the USSR’s methods of energy supplementation has instead drugged their cosmonauts enough to destroy their humanity, unleashing a new generation of splicers. The player must navigate his way through the base, aiming to shut it down and return safely to Earth where he will be compensated by his mystery funders.
Gameplay will blend Soviet technological space powers with an unique system of guns, made up of weapons such as the M16 but also Raygun Gothic ideas of ray guns and rockets. Gameplay could crazier than ever before, with laser and plasma weapons burning enemies into piles of goo.
The player will make his way through the failed achievement of communism, using new weapons and enhanced versions of plasmids.
