Another year, another Call of Duty... but a fresh batch of complaints. Whilst this year's COD is - for the most part - an exemplary shooter deserving of its globally-recognised brand power, with such reach comes some of the most dedicated players in the world.

There's truly no playerbase like Call of Duty's, and since launch, the legions have been losing thousands of combined hours exploring what works and what still needs tweaking. It's a symbiotic relationship Activision's collective development pool must relish, but this approach means the first few months of play are dogged by obvious qualms in desperate need of fixing.

Atop server and spawn-based issues, Black Ops 4 has a ton of innovations to get your head around as well. Specialists make gameplay more of a "hero shooter" than ever before, with their abilities and unique weapons shaking up the core foundation of a once-balanced FPS into pretty uncharted territory.

It must be a nightmare establishing balance with so many variables, but going forward, the following need to be addressed. Simple as.
