7. The Roster Is Absolutely Enormous
From a simple numbers standpoint, the roster of Injustice 2 is gargantuan. The online beta showcases four selectable characters in a menu of twenty-eight, and twenty-eight is definitely no number to sneeze at. Mortal Kombat X, Netherrealm's previous game, started with a roster of twenty-four kombatants, making this Netherrealm's largest launch roster yet.
On top of that, we already have confirmation that DLC is coming in a huge way to Injustice 2. Those who pre-order the Ultimate edition will be getting a whopping nine additional fighters added to the game post-launch, giving Injustice 2 the largest character roster Netherrealm has ever made.
What this means, is we could be seeing some very outlandish picks that would never have a chance with a smaller roster, like Gorilla Grodd, Poison Ivy, and the recently confirmed, Black Canary.
