Injustice 2: 8 Leaks & Confirmed Details You Need To Know

6. "Premium Skins" Open The Fan Service Gates Even Further

DC

Injustice 2 isn't just an ordinary superhero game - as a crossover of all of DC's properties, it's also a vehicle to let people play as nearly all of their favourite heroes and villains, even the slightly offbeat or less popular characters like Atrocitus. I'm personally rooting for Plastic Man, myself.

The first Injustice had premium DLC skins, with brand new voice acting that changed the character into an entirely different version of themselves. Two examples that come to mind, we saw a playable version of Arrow's Stephen Amell and John Stewart as the Green Lantern over Hal Jordan.

However, Injustice 2 has raised the bar considerably by adding a DLC premium skin for Supergirl that transforms her into Power Girl, a different character entirely. Fans of Power Girl and Supergirl can both get to play as their favourite character, without the game only limiting players to one or the other.

This is a huge fanservice bonus and could make a lot of people very happy, introducing far more characters into the game without filling the roster with needless clones.
