Ever since the takeover of the Abu Dhabi United Group in 2008, Manchester City has been an attractive destination for some of footballs global stars, with the Arab investment company ploughing over £1 billion into the club within the first three years of their regime alone. The clubs stadium was renamed and improved, state of the art training facilities were installed and money was no object in enticing some of the games biggest names to join the Eastlands revolution. Many a player has profited from joining City in recent seasons both financially and professionally.
