The Premier League made an exciting start to the 2013-14 season. A couple of surprise results on the opening weekend and lots of entertainment to discuss. Arsenal and Newcastle fans were left disappointed with their team's results over the weekend, whilst Manchester City were chanting about ending the first week top of the league. All three of the teams promoted from the Championship suffered defeat without scoring a single goal between them. Cardiff City were beat in the capital of England; 2-0 by West Ham, whilst Crystal Palace were beaten 1-0 at home by Tottenham and Hull City were 2-0 losers at Chelsea.
