Arsenal Transfers: 6 Deals Wenger Could Do Today

Wenger says he WILL be active during transfer deadline day.

The last days of the transfer window are generally when Arsene Wenger springs to life, but this summer has seen the Gunners manager uncharacteristically active from the earliest days. A lot has already been spent, and Arsenal fans could be forgiven for expecting that business is all complete now, but it seems Wenger is keen to confirm that he isn't finished yet:
€œI will be actively involved but on the last day of the window. I will of course be on alert until the last minute of the transfer deadline. You (the media) have decided that I have to buy strikers - I have not necessarily decided that! €œOnce again all the negotiations have to be as secret as possible and if we sign somebody, even if we sign Falcao, you will be informed."
In truth, Arsenal have still got holes to fill - at centre-half and in attack - and it won't be surprising to see Jim White screeching excitedly about activity at the Arsenal training ground well into the late hours up to the deadline. The Gunners might find it difficult to get value - and such is always the way - but then Wenger's side are not the completed article yet, and if the club have aspirations of greatness this season, they need to bring more players in today. One signing who won't be incoming of course is Loic Remy after Arsene Wenger distanced himself from a move for the striker, leaving the way open for him to sit on Chelsea's bench and watch Diego Costa score goals. So who could Wenger be signing today?
