Chelsea Transfers: 5 Flops Jose Mourinho Must Move On Immediately

5. Gary Cahill

Gary Cahill Since arriving from Bolton in January 2012 Gary Cahill has won a Champions League and a Europa League final so to say the player has been a flop would be a little unfair. However Cahill at times has appeared to be a weak link in the back four and with the relationship between Luiz and Ivanovic continuing to grow stronger there appears little chance of Cahill finding his way back into the first team anytime soon. The English centre half has made 36 appearances for Chelsea in the last 18 months and whilst he has been injured a little perhaps Cahill would be better off getting more time at another club. Is Cahill really the kind of player needed to win a Premier League? Touted as the natural successor to John Terry he hasn€™t quite caught the imagination like the aforementioned defenders.
