Chelsea Transfers: Ranking Jose Mourinho's Signings From Worst To Best

Jose Mourinho is back in the Stamford Bridge hotseat and has instantly resumed his profligate spending habits at Chelsea this summer. It's little wonder that the self-styled "Special One" has dusted off his, or rather oligarch owner Roman Abramovich's chequebook and lavished upwards of £60 million on new players, taking preceding matters into account. During his first stint in charge of the West Londoners, between 2004-07, the Portuguese manager forked out £225.76 million on the likes of Arjen Robben, Didier Drogba and Andrei Shevchenko. And it looks like he's back to his old ways after splashing the cash again during the embryonic stages of his second coming by landing Willian for £30 million as well as the likes of Andre Schurrle and Marco van Ginkel. All this comes as the Blues go in search of what has become an elusive Premier League title win. Once used to winning the English crown, the title has remained out of Chelsea's grasp since 2010 and has stayed in Manchester for the past three seasons. But, from Mourinho's perspective, that is hopefully set to change this season as the ex-Real Madrid boss leads his new charges out into battle. But which of his new signings will excel, and who raised a few eyebrows? Click "Next" to find out.
