Dortmund€™s attacking full backs proved too much for Leverkusen to handle as the reigning champions ran out 3-0 winners. The Borussenderby was fairly one sided and it leaves Die Schwarzgelben 5th with seven points from their opening three matches. Bayern still top the table thanks to a 3-1 win at home against Mainz. Marko Mandzukic continued his wonderful run of form with another brace before Bastian Schweinsteiger scored to put the Bavarians two up within 15 minutes. Szalai pulled one back but a comeback was halted thanks to a 92nd minute notch from Toni Kroos. There were two exciting 3-2 games on Saturday; with Hannover defeating Werder Bremen in the 90th minute courtesy of a strike from Szabolcs Huszti and Nurnberg winning at Monchengladbach, despite goals from new-boys Luuk De Jong and Granit Xhaka. Schalke continued their impressive start to the season with a comfortable 2-0 win away at Greuther Furth. Wonderkids Julian Draxler and Lewis Holtby both scored to give the Gelsenkirchen club another three points. The highest scoring match of the weekend occurred at the Mage Solar Stadium, where Freiburg scored two 80th minute goals to win 5-3 at home to Hoffenheim. The visitors had been behind twice in the game but both times they managed a comeback, including a great strike from Usami, but goals from Cedric Makiadi and Sebastian Freis secured the three points for Breisgau-Brasilianer.
