Man City Transfers: 5 Goalkeepers That Pellegrini Can Bring In To Replace Joe Hart

It is no secret in the world of football that Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini is on the lookout for a new goalkeeper. The Chilean coach has dropped former first choice keeper Joe Hart on several occasions this season after a series of calamitous performances, and rumours of potential replacements have been gathering pace in anticipation of the January transfer window. In recent games the former Malaga coach has elected for back up keeper Costel Pantilimon, who has kept four clean sheets and conceded just two goals in five straight victories, keeping Hart out of the side to much controversy. As the position of Hart is far from certain at the moment, it does look as though Pellegrini will bring in a new keeper to the club to at least provide more competition for the squad. The window gives Pellegrini the chance to bring in the keeper of his choice, with an almost unlimited budget, and many names have already been thrown into the hat. With many of the top keepers in the world being linked with the role at City coming as no surprise, who is Pellegrini likely to choose to provide much needed competition to the England No.1?
