It's easy to remember the players that amaze and thrill in a football season. Those that put you on the edge of your seat and those that make you hold your breath during a goal or a mesmerising run from midfield. They are what is best about the English Premier League and we have, arguably, the most diverse amount of talent from around the world in our league. A real joy to watch. However, it doesn't always go to plan for players as the season goes on. Sometimes managers make the wrong call signing a player. Sometimes the media hype surrounding a player is enough to inhibit them and stop them reaching their full potential. These are the players who so much is expected of in September and by December we are pulling our hair out watching them. This list will attempt to name those over hyped players but also provide a reason as to why they might not have performed to the best of their abilities. Obviously this list will be controversial in places, but please feel free to comment or argue your point.
