Premier League Transfers: 5 January Bargains From The Top 4

With the January transfer window fast approaching, the clubs that finished in last seasons top four will be looking to strengthen their squads in the right areas, with several targets already being talked about. Whilst notoriously difficult to buy in the middle of the season, the big clubs will be trying their best to get players who won't be cup tied for the Champions League. The main aim for some will also be to try and tie up deals that they failed to complete in the summer window, so expect to see several players you thought were going to move in the summer, actually move in the upcoming window. One area that is usually overlooked in any transfer window but particularly in the January version, is the fact that whilst these top clubs are looking to make their squads bigger, they will also be looking to make a quick buck on some of the players they already have, particularly if they are on high wages. The need to register 25 players for their Premier League squad also facilitates the need for players to go out as well as come in to the clubs, and with three of last seasons top four having changed coaches in the summer, they are still looking to stamp their authority on the team. With that in mind, here are five players from last season's top four who could be on their way in the January transfer window for a bargain price.
