Spurs Transfers: 5 Deals Pochettino Could Complete Today

Someone needs to score the goals!

In all honesty, Spurs haven't done a great deal of business to affect the first team so far in comparison to the massive - and occasionally wayward - rebuilding process of last summer, but they have made some astute moves. Defensive reinforcements have come in already, but Spurs look light in defensive midfield - especially with rumours that several players in that position are on their way out of the club before the window closes - and up front, Spurs cannot rely on Soldado and Adebayor for the entire season. It seems likely that if Pochettino is to get more business done, it will be in more advanced areas than where he has already strengthened, and after the Liverpool defeat yesterday, the need to strengthen both key areas has become a little more pressing. So what are the options for Spurs today?
