Simply put, Nani has just 3 months to prove himself and to save his career at Manchester United. The 26 year old has managed just one goal in the league this season and has struggled to establish himself as a first team regular. Talks for a new contract have reportedly stalled and it seems as if the he has become disillusioned with life in Manchester. Despite a lack of first time action so far in the league this season, he could see himself playing against Sunderland as Ferguson may look to rest key players ahead of the FA Cup game against Chelsea on Monday. There is little doubt that Nani is an extremely talented footballer and on his day, he is one of the best wingers in the Premier League. If he can turn on the style against Sunderland, he could easily have a big say on which way the match goes. This could be the chance he needs to kickstart his season.
