2. The Incredibles 2 And Cars 3 Are In Development
Luckily, this week did have one exciting piece of confirmed Disney news: Pixar is currently developing The Incredibles 2 and a third Cars film. Cars 3 is a bit of a "no-duh" announcement, and one that nobody really seems excited about. The Incredibles, on the other hand, has many absolutely buzzing with excitement, including myself. Of all of Pixar's properties, The Incredibles always felt like the film that deserved a sequel the most. Yet, the animation studio has always remained on the fence about the possibility, saying that they wouldn't rule it out but weren't currently considering it either. The news came from Disney CEO Bob Iger, who met with Disney shareholders and gave them the news. Pixar later confirmed the report via their Twitter page, so it looks like both of these movies have a greenlight. We still don't know
when they will come out or what stage of development they're in. However, it's great to hear that The Incredibles 2 is finally happening, even if we have to sit through another Cars film to make it happen.
