10 Most Insane Storylines In Doctor Who

The world's longest running sci-fi TV show is also the weirdest.

Eight hundred episodes, and the longest running science fiction show in history, and a whole lot of plastic alien heads and running down corridors. There€™s plenty that Doctor Who€™s done, and plenty it could probably have done differently. But one thing it€™s done exceedingly well for fifty years (give or take a hiatus for sixteen years) is utterly bananas, screw-loose entertainment. Contrary to the opinions of some, the revived Doctor Who that began in 2005 doesn€™t have the monopoly on €˜timey-wimey€™ stories involving ridiculous temporal shenanigans €“ this has always been a show about a time traveler, after all. Neither does the old school Who have the trademark on guys with rubber masks. The similarities run far deeper than the differences. There are some who would probably say that attempting to pick ten of the craziest, most out-there storylines in Doctor Who is rather like trying to find a sarcastic Mancunian. Fortunately for you, we€™re made of sterner stuff than that. No doubt you€™ll have your own list, or at least violently disagree with ours. Let us know in the comments!
