With less than two weeks to go before the start of Series 8 the BBC is being noticeably more cagey than usual with its promotional material, possibly as a countermeasure to the BBC America leaks back in July. The first trailer gave away very little; being largely a collection of rapid-fire clips each lasting little more than a second, while the second was a shorter compilation of already released content. But despite officially released material being a lot scarcer than in recent years, there are still enough clips, rumours, and other assorted scraps of information to whet our appetites. And cause us to develop intense feelings of jealousy towards the people who have already seen Deep Breath in its entirety at the Cardiff screening. But something this maelstrom of both confirmed and rumoured information also does is enable us to cherry pick certain moments that are drawing our attention and building the hype more than others. These are the moments that stand out to us as being the most likely to end up as Series 8€™s big hitters in various fields - whether it€™s visuals, story, or just being something a little bit different than what we€™re used to.
