Doctor Who: 10 Billie Piper Songs That Are Basically About Rose

She's been laying the groundwork for years.

For many Doctor Who fans Rose Tyler is the most defining companion of the revived series, and some would even say of all time. She's definitely left her stamp on the Doctor Who mythology, not only for playing an important part in bringing back the series but for being the one who has arguably left the biggest impression on the Doctor than any of her predecessors to date. Meeting the Doctor wasn't just a dream come true for Rose, it was also a dream come true for her real life alter ego, Billie Piper, who up to that point had only managed to secure a string of small roles after deciding to pursue an acting career. Then Doctor Who came along but to say it made her a household name wouldn't be entirely true. She was already known - but not necessarily loved - for her previous singing career during which she became the youngest solo female artist to debut at a number one single. Her one hit wonders included Because We Want To, Day and Night and Honey To The Bee and as a tribute (?) to her time as a pop sensation, here's a list of 10 of her songs that basically sum up Rose Tyler in all her glory, from lovesick puppy to Defender of the Universe and everything else in between. Turn up - or in some cases turn down - those speakers and get ready to embark on a pop-tastic musical adventure. Rose is so vain she probably thinks these songs are about her. As you'll soon see, some of them must've been.
