Doctor Who: 10 Billie Piper Songs That Are Basically About Rose
10. Tinted Eyes
Kicking off the countdown is this catchy B-side track which basically sums up the entire story of Rose Tyler's tenure. In fact, it's probably been used in its fair share of montages featuring clips of the Doctor and Rose looking lovingly into each other's eyes in its time. Nobody can deny the fact that the tale of the Doctor and Rose was a love story (of sorts) from start to finish. Pretty much from day one she was looking at the Doctor through the eyes of a lovesick puppy and it only got worse when David Tennant came along. That's what you get for rescuing someone from their certain death and whisking them off to the furthest reaches of the universe in a blue box, Doctor. Unadulterated infatuation. He's only got himself to blame, really. At one point, though, things got uncomfortably close to the worrying suggestion that they actually were about to get married, settle down and have lots of Time Lord babies, particularly in Series 2's The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit two parter in which they got stranded and started talking about the possibility of getting a mortgage together. There's a line in Doctor Who and they almost very nearly crossed it. You only have to look into Rose's eyes (the Doctor certainly did) in that scene to know that she'd actually want nothing more than to shack up with her beloved and if he ever was going to give up life in the TARDIS and settle down with one of his companions, Rose Tyler would probably have been the one who convinced him to do it. "I see you through your tinted eyes, baby..."
