Doctor Who: 10 Bold Story Decisions We Want To See

With Doctor Who now in its 50th year, I believe it is time to reflect on some bold story decisions the show could follow; that€™s not to say it isn€™t already making some bold decisions. So, it should be noted these are only interesting possibilities and you are free to disagree. Over the last 50 years, Doctor Who has built up its own history, culture, structure and diehard fanbase. Familiar faces pop up now and then, and returning aliens/new aliens have their fair share of appearances. Doctor Who has constantly been kept alive through TV, books, comics, magazines and the old VHS tapes. Merchandise has always proved popular too, pleasing fans and casual watchers alike. However, the question is how much can be gotten out of the show before too much is reused? So far, the show has remained unique without clichéd repetition. So now, I will list 10 bold story decisions that most fans - I say most, not all - would like to see in future episodes, and yes some are returning elements but they are not without justification.

10. Classic Aliens

The very first episode of the revived series ,€œRose€, brought the classic Autons back and in €œDalek€, a Dalek was also brought back ,of course. Little to no classic aliens aside from Cybermen, Macra, Sontarans, Silurians and a brief mention of the Ice Warriors have returned. That€™s fine; I€™m not complaining, just stating, but it would be nice to see, say, the Zygons return or even the Sensorites make an appearance. State below in the comments which classic alien(s) you would like to see make a comeback.
