5. Wesley Crusher Star Trek
Any Star Trek fans will easily see where this is about to go. Wesley Crusher didnt manage to get into the Starfleet Academy on his first try and yet, he always seems to have the solution, despite everyone else on board being expert crew members. He always saves the day and is loved by everyone for it. Surely, the Doctor would find this just as annoying as we do? The assistant isnt supposed to come up with a brilliant solution; they aid the Doctor and maybe guide him towards something he hadnt quite seen, something that brings out their humanity. The Doctor calls them brilliant, kisses them on the head if theyve done really well and then runs off to save the day. Although hes got experience in space and hes obviously great in a crisis we cant have Wesley stealing the show! Its called Doctor Who for a reason and we want it to stay that way!
