Doctor Who: 10 Predictions For The 10th Anniversary Of NuWho

What's in store for 2015?

This March it will be 10 years since Doctor Who returned to our screens. After a 16 year absence - minus one TV movie - Doctor Who was rebooted for the 21st century and became a worldwide phenomenon and a proper British institution to boot. The Doctor Who Christmas special has become a staple of the festive period year after year. But Last Christmas was more than another Christmas special, more than the first special to feature Peter Capaldi's Doctor - it was the tenth Christmas special. Fans have been watching Doctor Who at Christmas for a decade and the 26th March will also mark ten years since the Ninth Doctor rescued Rose from a shop full of killer dummies and told her to run. Many fans have asked how Doctor Who might celebrate 10 years since its reboot. While arguably it shouldn't be the big bold celebration like the 50th special The Day of the Doctor, it's till something that should be noted and deservedly celebrated. Be it a brief return of old companions and recurring characters or stories that pay homage to the events of the last ten years, 2015 is a great opportunity to look back on the accomplishments of the last decade of Doctor Who. Drawing from the events of Last Christmas, the dramatic developments of Series 8 and some of the ways Doctor Who celebrated the 50th in 2013, let's ponder what might be lying in wait for the titular Time Lord this year.
