9. Some More Classic Monsters
The Daleks will be back once again this year, because they're the Daleks and there's almost like an obligation to have them appear. However, from what we've seen in the trailer, it does look as though there'll be some classic versions appearing, while other old-school monster the Zygons will be popping-up at some point as well.
There's often a clamour for the inclusion and updating of more of these kinds of villains, and while having the Zygons back again is a start, they could well go further. There's a monster in the trailer that looks like it could be an updated Sea Devil (it's reportedly a new creation called the Fisher King), and they'd certainly be something most fans would welcome back.
Other classic monsters that could be due for a comeback include the Mara, which they should be able to do some great work with given the technology now available, and also the likes of the Rani or the Black Guardian. However, given there's already a couple of older monsters included, and a number of new ones spotted in the trailer, this may once again be left as wishful thinking.
