The Flash Season 6: 7 Theories On The Identity Of The New Big Bad

6. Mirror Master

With the ability to get inside any reflective surface, Mirror Master has found innovative methods of using mirrors to confound the Scarlet Speedster for decades now and, as a result, he's considered to be one of his most formidable foes.

Taking all of that into account, his role in the third season of the TV series should have been, well, less forgettable. In spite of a solid performance from Grey Damon, the show's interpretation of the Sam Scudder version never felt all that deep, failed to wear the iconic orange costume and barely amounted to anything more than a one-note villain of the week.

While the timeline once showed that Mirror Master and Top would ascend to the top of Central City's underworld, that future was deleted with the death of Savitar. However, that doesn't necessarily mean we've seen the last of him.

It's possible that Scudder could return to make that future a reality, but the more exciting option is the possibility that the comics' second Mirror Master (Evan McCulloch) could make his presence felt instead.

According to Harry, McCulloch actually exists on Earth-2 and, like the comic book Mirror Master, he uses a mirror gun (unlike Scudder). Whether or not this Earth-2 version shows up remains to be seen, but it's worth noting that Team Flash actually used a mirror gun designed by McCulloch Technologies to defeat Cicada II. Could that have been an omen of things to come?
