The Walking Dead: 10 Things Season 6 Has Got Horribly Wrong (So Far)

The zombie show is too afraid to kill its characters.

There is plenty to like about The Walking Dead, from the characters to the action to the horror genre moments that make it enticing viewing. I've already gone through the best aspects of Season 6 so far here, but while I did enjoy the show, I'm certainly not blind to the fact that there were plenty of issues with it that need to be resolved. Some poor aspects are fresh, while others are niggling gripes we've had with The Walking Dead since the very beginning, but regardless of the problems' importance, the show needs to up its game in order to pave the way for Negan & Co. to swoop into the mix at some point during Season 6B. It's okay, everyone's allowed to criticise a show they love. I'm won't stop watching it, but at the same time, some big improvements need to be made in order to resolve this list of things 6A got horribly wrong.

10. The Logic

I understand the logic of 'the trucks were going to fall, we had to prepare for the fallout', but the group were very adept at putting up metal walls to shepherd the walkers, could they not have done a similar thing to pen them into the quarry? Why would they lure thousands of walkers a few miles away from Alexandria when they could slowly set up a system to eradicate them all? The walls could've either been used to divert all of the walkers back down the cliff into the quarry, an everlasting loop, or they could've acted like the trucks as a 'dispenser' with single-file walkers able to pop out. Then we could've had our favourite characters dispatching the creatures one by one. Or better still, just torch the lot. Set fire to the pit and be done with it. I just feel like the whole situation was completely avoidable, but then again, we wouldn't have had a storyline for Season 6 if they'd just acted logically.
